Los Angeles prodigy Kansas Bowling, director of Troma’s B.C. Butcher, will premiere her latest directorial work on film, a music video for West Coast groove riff rock quartet the “Death Valley Girls” and their new release song Disco on Troma Movies YouTube.

Bowling,wrote B.C. Butcher at just fifteen years old, directed the film at seventeen and World Premiered the movie at legendary Egyptian Theatre in
Hollywood, California. B.C. Butcher has since gone on to be screened theatrically across the globe at festivals and theaters, and the movie is soon to be released on Blu-Ray by Troma Entertainment.

Official Animated Selections Announced for 17th Annual TromaDance Film Festival

The Official Selections in Animation for the 17th Annual TromaDance,  which will be held at the Paper Box Theatre in Brooklyn, NY, have been confirmed, it was announced today by Lloyd Kaufman.

The selections were drawn from the pool of submissions considered for April 30th’s First Annual TROMAnimation Festival, an event held at Lucky 13 Saloon in Brooklyn on April 30th, 2016.  The new spawn of TromaDance opened its doors those artists who specialize in animation of all kinds, from hand drawn to 3-D and digital and contributors were able to showcase their work among peers and accomplished panelists, like Ukino Joe and Maxwell Atoms.  The curators of The 1st Annual TROMAnimation Festival are already working to secure a second annual all-ages event for 2017.

Yesterday, June 28th 2016,  Troma Entertainment made public The 17th Annual TromaDance Short Movie Official Selections. Today’s highly anticipated announcement of the four titles curated by NYC’s Troma Team demonstrate in some cinematic form the dedication to original, historical and socially significant themes, images and techniques and represent ingenuity in genre by skirting the experimental through ambitious and dedicated pursuit in documentary and exploiting the potential of conventional narrative.
