Ask Lloyd Kaufman anything! Tell him anything! This Wednesday, June 15th at 6:00 PM EDT, Lloyd Kaufman is scheduled to answer questions from fans live through Reddit’s “Ask Me Anything” feature, it was announced today by Elizabeth D’Ambrosio, spokesperson for Troma Entertainment.

Kaufman will be available to offer inquiring Troma fans updates regarding his soon to be released magnum-opus movie, Return to Return to Nuke ‘Em High AKA Volume 2, along with news about other Troma titles, future projects and events. Trump and Hilary are also fair fame, as well as onanism.

Another new development in Tromaville likely to light up the Reddit “AMA” feed will be TROMA Now, Troma Entertainment’s unique subscription video-on-demand service that features world-premiere movies and exclusive content to subscribers, which was launched in late 2015.

Upcoming Troma events that will interest “AMA” participants include this summer’s 17th Annual TromaDance, Troma Entertainment’s free to submit/free to attend annual Film Festival that will be held at the Paper Box in Brooklyn this July 29th and 30th, 2016. The Fest comes as a part of The TROMAmerican Summer 2016~ Festival of Free!, a no-cover  Troma themed party featuring music, movies and live art, set for three Thursday nights this summer at Lucky 13 Saloon in Brooklyn, NY.

Lloyd Kaufman is known for his 50 years of championing the independent arts and supporting indie filmmakers all over the planet, one example is 17 year old Kansas Bowling, creator and director of B.C. Butcher  who has received international recognition and recently premiered B.C. Butcher at Hollywood’s legendary Egyptian Theatre.  Troma Entertainment was the gateway for Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn and a catalyst in developing the careers of many actors, like Vincent D’Onofrio, Samuel L. Jackson and cult-movie heroine Debbie Rochon.  Aspiring filmmakers, Troma fans and supporters of the independent cinema are invited to join Kaufman on Reddit this Wednesday evening for an opportunity to pick the brain of the movie-making legend and hear his words of wisdom and experience.

UK Critics laude the Troma inspired musical as reviews pour in since the show premiered at the Southwark Playhouse on April 22nd, 2016!

Magnanimous reviews for the British premiere of Joe DiPietro and Bon Jovi’s David Bryan’s The Toxic Avenger- the Musical!, which made it’s London Premiere on April 22nd, 2016 at Southwark Playhouse in London, are pouring in! The performance, inspired by Troma Entertainment’s 1984 cult superhero movie, The Toxic Avenger, is a smash success in the UK, with a celebrated 5 Star honor from London’s The Telegraph, who describe the production as “slick and witty”. The Telegraph goes on,  “The cast are phenomenal singers, bringing scorching vocal range to Bryan’s earworm tunes, and squeezing every last drop of comedy out of their deliciously juvenile lyrics (‘When your head looks decayed, it’s hard to get laid’).”  Reactions from the press make it clear that the Tromatic essence of the musical is brilliantly conveyed, for example   Time Out London , which gave the show 4 Stars,  called the The Toxic Avenger- the Musical! a  “deliciously lurid and joyously daft”, themes definitively associated with Troma Entertainment.

With the April 30th cut-off date fast approaching, filmmakers internationally put out a gracious plea to Troma Entertainment for an extension of the submission deadline into the TromaDance Film Festival . Troma has listened to the prospective contributors and has extended the deadline for submissions into TromaDance, Troma Entertaiment’s free-to-enter independent film festival to May 23rd, 2016,  it was announced today by Lloyd Kaufman, prexy of Troma Entertainment and creator of “The Toxic Avenger.”
