June 1, 2016 on Internet Web Streaming Service TROMA NOW

He’s not a garbage man, but he’s come back for your junk! That’s right, kids! Your favorite dick-nosed, ball-cheeked, bucket-headed slasher is back in Stephen Lange’s psycho-satire, Junk Bonds: The Return of Junkbucket. Witness  Junkbucket and his found family of phallic cannibals as they terrorize Lake Pakajanomo (where your package is no mo) in their quest to castrate  most of Washington State.Junk Bonds  is to be an official World Premiere movie released by Troma Entertainment on Troma Now (available a t  watch.troma.com ) , the independent movie studio’s video-streaming-on-demand-service that launched this year ,  it was announced today by Lloyd Kaufman, prexy of Troma Entertainment and creator of  The Toxic Avenger.

Junkbucket  (left, sans bucket) is not your average hard-ass, “Leatherface” type-  in fact he’s got a soft side. It just isn’t hanging from his nose…
Junk Bonds is, in the words of director Stephen Lange, “a love letter/satire of slasher movies of the 70’s and 80’s (specifically the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series and the Troma classic Mother’s Day”. Beautifully filmed in the magnificent lush scenery of Washington State, this phallocentric gore-fest will delight and terrify genre fans the world over as Junkbucket and his family menace and mutilate hillbillies, bikers, strippers and more! A death-defying tale of love, loss and redemption, Junk Bonds: The Return of Junkbucket is at once classic in its homage to the 1970’s country road slasher pioneers the filmmaker was influenced by as well as through his carefully articulated art direction but by way of content the ultra-vulgar visuals and actions point out to the audience that they may be blessed with total desensitization to things that should be sexy and things that should be sickening. The topical nature of Junk Bonds: The Return of Junkbucket  uses the same comedy technique you may recognize in the movie Naked Gun,  for example. Extremely grotesque and highly naturalistic special effects create a fantastical yet unnervingly earthly set for the carnal man meals, and in this way Lange’s Junk Bonds is vivid and surreal.
Using a genre blending style that makes reference to the new forms in cinema innovated by Lloyd Kaufman and Troma Entertainment, and developed by capturing the foul yet erotic essence of 1980’s youth culture in the USA with movies like Class of Nuke ‘Em High and The Toxic Avenger.  Junk Bonds: The Return of Junkbucket was made with a deliberate, self-aware approach to filmmaking and storytelling that is at once well crafted but also doesn’t try to convince us about anything.  The artful style blending and dedication to the complexities of good versus evil in the  villain and a victim relationship are no doubt with good company in Tromaville. In fact,  Lange’s homicidal anti-hero, inbred and castrated by his mother at birth, was also the featured murder junky in original 2008 feature film, Junkbucket, which is also distributed by Troma Entertainment.
Hideously scarred and not unlike other “misunderstood” terrible humans, who sometimes also occasionally experience feelings inside, Junkbucket will touch your heart… and maybe your balls, just a little?
Junkbucket (with bucket ) thinks nipples count too!
Ryan  Miller  portrays the titular “Bucket-headed mongoloid”, Junkbucket. The wildly talented cast also features Sara Coates ( “Pie Girl – Z Nation, Laggies ), Ryan Higgins ( Z Nation ), and a bunch other dicks (literally).
Junk Bonds: The Return of Junkbucket  has already received a number of awards from a variety of festivals across the country, including awards for Best Picture (Crypticon Seattle), Best Director and Best Horror Comedy (Fear Fete), Audience Award (Seattle True Independent Film Festival), Best Special Effects Make-Up (Freak Show Horror Fest), and Best Slasher Film (Fright Night Film Fest).
