The World Premiere of Return to Return to Nuke ‘Em High aka Vol.2

Troma Entertainment proudly presents: The World Premiere of Return to Return to Nuke ‘Em High aka Vol.2 at the Arcades 3 Cinema Cannes Film Festival, May 23rd.

World Premiere of Lloyd Kaufman’s highly anticipated second installment of his 2-part event film Return to Return to Nuke ‘Em High AKA Vol.2  at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival in the prestigious Arcades 3 Cinema, May 23rd at 17:30 (5:30pm), it was announced today by Lloyd Kaufman, President of Troma Entertainment and creator of The Toxic Avenger.

Lloyd Kaufman & Michael Herz present a Troma Team Production:
Return to Return to Nuke ‘Em High AKA Vol. 2, starring Catherine Corcoran,
premiering May 23rd!

“I couldn’t be happier with Return to Return to Nuke ‘Em High AKA Vol.2 . The Troma Team and I have been working on this film for the past 7 years. We put our sweat, blood and slime into the production and can’t wait for the world to see it! Vol.2 truly is as my partner and VP of Troma Entertainment, Michael Herz says, “The best Troma movie ever made!” stated Lloyd Kaufman, Director of Return to Return to Nuke ‘Em High AKA Vol.2 .

stars Catherine Corcoran, Asta Paredes and Zac Amico

Quentin Tarantino has been a fan and friend of Troma for years, and when he made Kill Bill in two volumes to create an “Event Film,” Lloyd Kaufman took note. “Michael Herz and I decided that to mark Troma’s 40th year we, too, would produce an ‘Event Film’ in two volumes just like Quentin did,” says Kaufman, “except slightly less lavish in the budget area.” Return to Nuke ‘Em High: Vol. 1 & 2, directed by Lloyd Kaufman, is a hilarious, thoughtful sci-fi “Event Film” with themes ripped straight from today’s headlines: the contamination and degradation of the world’s food supply, rampant bullying, and LGBTQ love triumphing over prejudice and violence.

The film, a revisiting of Troma’s 1986 Class of Nuke ‘Em High is in the same vein as other classics such as Class of 1984, Rock ‘n’ Roll High School, and Carrie, but seen through the unique vision of Lloyd Kaufman and the Troma Team. Welcome to Tromaville High School where, unfortunately, the glee club has mutated into a vicious gang of Cretins. Chrissy and Lauren, two innocent lesbian lovers, must fight not only the Cretins, mutants and monsters but also the evil Tromorganic Foodstuffs Conglomerate. Can they and Kevin the Wonder Duck save Tromaville High School and the world?

Up next from Troma is Lloyd Kaufman’s second installment of his two-part film event, Return to Return to Nuke ‘Em High AKA Vol.2 and it’s coming to the Cannes Film Festival! 7 years in the making, Vol.2 is shaping up to be what Michael Herz has called “The best Troma Movie ever made!”

Welcome to the end of times. Moonshine Meat Market Mayhem is streaming on

After the Third World War the Earth was plunged into chaos. The last remnants of humanity were forced to survive by any means possible. The nuclear fallout that riddled the world destroyed the livestock and poisoned the water. Even the living are dying of radioactive cancer. But, even death is not the end! There is no afterlife when the dead begin to walk!

The world belongs to these undead creatures called Cancer Dancers. The only saving grace left for man comes in the form of moonshine. Without it, you will thirst, for water you cannot drink. Welcome to the end of times.

This is no laughing matter. Standards of Living is streaming on Troma Now!

Shot entirely on an iPad 2, Standards of Living tells the story of Peter, a struggling comedian who takes part in a teleportation experiment that ‘improves’ whatever cargo is being teleported…but the results are no laughing matter.

Written and directed by Aaron Mento and produced by Ocular Migraine Productions, Standards of Living stars Scott Yarborough (Peter Sayer), Bill Ferris (Mr. Randall) and Derek Houck (Stu) in a genre-bending adventure that leaves audiences wondering how much weirder and darker Peter’s journey could possibly get.
Standards of Living is Mento’s first feature-length film. Mento previously wrote and co-created “TV FACE,” the Internet’s first feature-length horror web series, which was nominated for a 2007 Webby Award. His feature-length screenplay “Survival High” was a Top 10 Finalist at the Cinequest Screenplay Competition in 2009. Mento established Ocular Migraine Productions in 2011.
