What's going on with Poultrygeist Update #10
So Lloyd's leaving for Cannes in 48 hours, Parts of the Family is almost complete, and Poultrygeist! pre-production continues to charge along. As you can guess, things are a little bit hectic. (So forgive me if some emails take a day or two to respond -- we'll be getting an assistant in here soon to help out!) But on the upside, the special effects are coming along beautifully, and we've started getting some early press for the production.

My personal favorite news to date, though, has to be that after a meeting in Toronto, Lemmy announced to Lloyd that he's returning to Tromaville for a part in Poultrygeist! So all you Troma fans, go out and support Motorhead and Lemmy! (Thanks Lemmy!!!)

And if you're looking to join us in Tromaville, and will work hard for no money on Poultrygeist!, let us know at poultrygeist@troma.com!

In other news:

Florida Today ran a large piece on attempts to bring Troma, and Poultrygeist!, to Brevard County. Below is a snippet, but follow the link for the full article.

"In this particular case, Lloyd's group is unique organization," [Film Commissioner Bonnie King] said. "They're willing to stay in a smaller hotel without the fringe. They don't need room service at 3 a.m. or the fancy coffee. They'd be happy drinking the hotel coffee and eating chicken fingers."

We get coffee and chicken fingers??? Whoooboy! Lloyd also gave a pitch for Poultrygeist! on G4's Attack of the Show. The clip isn't available online, but there are a couple of words about the film somewhere on that page.

We've been working with talented artist Tim Seeley on some of the American Chicken Bunker art, and settled on this fantastic piece for the corporate logo:

Xochitl Gomez and Chris Bowen keep working away at what's become their Manhattan-based beak factory...

Marsha Nicholson made this remarkably disgusting zombie-chicken foot appliance, which she's working on making more duable and then producing replicas of.

Meanwhile, a trio spread out across the globe are working on demon zombie eggs...
Ray Riviera
Bitte Andersson
Leigh Radziwon

And in the world of fan art, we've got a couple of new additions...
Illustrator Damian K (of www.weaponofcreation.com) sent in this inspired sketch of a zombie chicken
FX Artist Chris Huziak, while working on zombie chickens, also submitted this drawing of an ACB chicken soldier!
