Chris Seaver, founder and head of Rochester-based cult film studio Low Budget Pictures, and Writer/Director of such underground classics as Mulva, Heather and Puggly, and The Filthy McNasty Trilogy has signed a contract with TROMA ENTERTAINMENT to create:

SGT. KABUKIMAN VS. The Killer Lesbians from BONEJACK HIGH

Chris Seaver will write and direct this gay-themed comedy/extreme -horror movie in March 2006. The movie will feature many Troma celebrities, including independent movie goddess Debbie Rochon, as well as an assortment of other Troma and Low Budget Pictures superstars (in addition to other great surprises).

Over the past fifteen years, Seaver has made twenty-six films and
accumulated a loyal cult following. He began his association with Troma in 1999 doing various behind-the-scenes and on-screen work, such as shooting several episodes of Troma’s Edge TV and “Sex and Violence.”  In turn, Troma has supported Seaver in many ways, like organizing cast and crew for his 2000 film Mulva: Zombie Ass Kicker, promoting his films at film festivals and conventions across the country, and including a mention of Seaver in Lloyd Kaufman’s Book, “Make Your Own Damn Movie” (by St. Martin’s Press -- available now at buy.tromamovies.com)

Shooting will begin March 2006 in Rochester, NY, Wellsville, NY and New York City.

“I could not be happier to be given this opportunity,” said Seaver, “I hope the fans will love this vision of a Kabukiman done in an insane and twisted style.”
