Troma Entertainment has been a pioneer in Independent filmmaking
for over 30 years. Known for such classics as The Toxic Avenger,
Mothers Day, Rabid Grannies, Class of Nuke em
High and many others, Troma has been described as The Punk
Rockers of the film industry. Tromas highly original style
has gained them notoriety and a cult following around the world.

Now, for the first time ever, MF Gallery has organized a
Troma Art Show" to honor the great artists involved in the
films. Meet Tromas founder, Lloyd Kaufman at the opening party.
Come check out original movie props, poster art and other memorabilia
from one of the most original independent film studios in the history
of horror.
The opening party, which will take place on Friday, April 29 from 7 to
10 PM, will also feature appearances by Troma characters like The Toxic
Avenger and Sgt. Kabukiman. There will be music and refreshments.
MF Gallery is located at 157 Rivington Street (Between Clinton and Suffolk
Streets) in New York Citys Lower East Side. Gallery hours are Wednesday
through Sunday, 2PM to 7PM, and the show will be up from April 29 to June
6, 2005.
