It’s like a high school reunion!” With the event film in  post-production, Kaufman hinted that there was still room for more  surprise appearances by additional stars from the eclectic Troma library  of films. “We are currently working on a few more surprises for our  fans who have supported us for 40 years and made it possible for this  great Troma family to have come to be,” he added.
This announcement comes as Troma Entertainment has appeared in numerous mainstream media outlets with its launch of an indiegogo.com campaign for a brand-new documentary, entitled, Occupy Cannes, a follow up to Troma’s acclaimed 2002 documentary All the Love You Cannes. In addition to serving as a guide to the Cannes Film Festival for independent filmmakers, Occupy Cannes will document the world premiere of Return to Nuke ‘Em High Vol. 1 at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.

Return to Nuke ‘Em High Vol. 1 & II is a  satirical sci-fi comedy event film with themes ripped straight from today’s  headlines: the contamination and degradation of the world’s food supply,  rampant bullying, and love triumphing over prejudice. The film is in  the same vein as other classics such as Class of 1984, Rock ‘n’ Roll  High School, and Carrie, but seen through the unique vision of Lloyd  Kaufman and the Troma Team.
Welcome to Tromaville High School where,  unfortunately, the glee club has mutated into a vicious gang of Cretins.  Chrissy and Lauren, two innocent lovers-bloggers, must fight not only  the Cretins, mutants and monsters but also the evil Tromorganic  Foodstuffs Conglomerate. Will they save Tromaville High School and the  world?
