BANG BANG KID
BANG BANG KID
SYNOPSIS

The Bang Bang Kid combines the rich history of the Wild West with a unique twist, defying the rules of the Western genre by blending medieval pageantry and science fiction with the down-home cowboy feel that defines the Westen genre itself.

Welcome to Limerick, a mythical town rules by the iron fisted Bullock (Guy Madison), a tyrannical crime lord who has returned mankind ot the dark ages. With an army of outlaws, led by the diabolical Killer Kossock (Ricardo Garrone), Bullock enforces a reign of terror without equal in history. The greatest heroes of the West have tried to stand up to the Monarch of Limerick but all have failed. In a desperate manner, the people of Limerick rest their hopes on Merriwether T. Newberry (Tom Bosley, of "Happy Days"), a mild-mannered travelling doctor who have never been in a gunfight in his life.

Unbeknownst to Kossock and his gang, Merriwether has decided to use Limerick to try out his newest invention, a mechanical gunfighter, the Bang Bang Kid. Also joining the resistance fighters is the lovely Gwenda (Sandra Milo), a woman who will stop at nothing to avenge the injustice of Bullock's reign.

This is a fantasy adventure the whole family and enjoy, with a surprise ending that has a moral lesson even more immediate in our technologically confused times.
