Merrie (A.K.A. Tromette Dyslexia) was born and raised in the Metro-Detroit area where she discovered Troma films around the age of sixteen while browsing through the local video store. It was at that moment Merrie knew she fell in love with Troma’s signature low-budget gore and effects.

Her first film convention with the Troma Team (and otherwise) was Fangoria Weekend in Chicago of 2006, and since then she’s been hooked! Besides Fango-Chicago, she’s appeared at Cinema Wasteland, Flashback Weekend, Twisted Nightmare (not that she remembers much of that one), Monster Mania, Rue Morgue/Fan Expo, Fango-NY, and "It Came from Lake Michigan" in Racine, Wisconsin.

Besides her career of pizza delivery and frequenting conventions, Merrie is also involved in Madison's Rocky Horror Picture Show cast, usually on stage as Columbia and/or "Trixie", and has also performed as Magenta, Janet, and Brad.

Merrie currently resides in Madison, WI and is working on some script ideas with various friends and will attend more conventions in the near future with the Troma Team! Keep an eye out for her, she’s just getting started!
