Troma Stampedes into Calgary, Alberta Canada for the Calgary Horror Con

Lloyd Kaufman to Premiere “Return to Nuke ‘Em High: Vol. 1” Saturday August 2nd at the Plaza Theatre

Closing out a Fan-Toxic weekend at San Diego Comic Con with a number of immensely popular sold-out exclusives, tons of surprise guests, and a jam packed 40th Anniversary Panel, Troma Entertainment heads to the Great White North for the 4th Annual Calgary Horror Con!  Troma President & Creator of the “Toxic Avenger,” Lloyd Kaufman has been invited to the Calgary Horror Con this weekend as a guest of honor to present his latest Tro-Masterpiece “Return to Nuke ‘Em High: Vol. 1” to Calgary filmgoers for the first time ever! 

On Saturday night August 2nd at 9pm the curtains will rise at the historic Plaza Theatre. Legendary director Lloyd Kaufman will introduce the first volume of his Sistine Chapel film in this Exclusive One-Night-Only Premiere. After the screening he will participate in a crowd-interactive Q & A session followed by a Meet & Greet in the lobby. Tickets are going fast but you can reserve your seats now by pre-ordering tickets here. 

 

You can meet Lloyd Kaufman & Toxie at the Troma Booth (Booth #17) this Saturday August 2nd before the Premiere as well as on Sunday August 3rd.  As always Lloyd never charges for his signature on any Tromabilia or for photographs! 

Also Premiering in Calgary at the convention will be Troma Entertainment’s up-coming release “Pro Wrestlers Vs Zombies” at 12:30pm on Sunday August 3rd. Starring such wrestling legends as “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle, and “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan see why this film has been getting (g)rave reviews!

“CLASS OF NUKE ‘EM HIGH” SOUNDTRACK FINALLY GETS OFFICIAL LP RELEASE

The OST of yesterday, now available for the youth of today!

The Ship to Shore Phonograph Company announced today that the soundtrack to the Troma classic Class of Nuke ‘Em High will finally get an official release, something fans have been waiting for since 1986!  In conjunction with Troma, Ship To Shore have collated the glorious 80’s anthems that made the soundtrack such a highly demanded item, and will release it to the public – on gloriously thick 180g vinyl! The LP is now available for pre-order at  shiptoshore.storenvy.com and will street on November 11, 2014.
Featuring artwork from Godmachine, the soundtrack will be limited to 1,000 copies. 700 copies will be on high quality 180 gram black vinyl, and 300 on special “Dewey’s Meltdown” splattered vinyl. Each song has been meticulously remastered for optimum stereophonic listening pleasure, so fans can now enjoy them the way they the artists intended them.

Troma Catches Mad Cow!

“Mad Cow” the Movie to be Released by Troma Entertainment

The Cow-ntdown is on! Troma Entertainment is proud to announce that it will be releasing “Mad Cow” (the film) worldwide. Co-Produced by Jason Rogan and Doug Marschke and co-directed by the team of Michael Wright and Michael Rix, “Mad Cow was shot over 12 days in the heat of the South African Summer.  Starring Tanya van Graan (Death Race 2 and Lost Boys: The Thirst) and Greg Viljoen about a chainsaw-wielding homicidal heffer, Mad Cow raises the steaks in horror and comedy.

Mad Cow premiered at the Cannes Film Festival causing quite a commootion. It screened in front of a Sold Out audience having to turn some people at the door leaving one audience member in tears. When the theater ‘herd’ a second screening was added immediately.
