Troma Entertainment has recently acquired The Slashening and Fear Town, USA,  two underground slasher-comedies written and directed by Brandon Bassham, a sketch comedy writer at NYC’s Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.

Troma Entertainment is pleased to announce its March 2015 releases are now available for pre-order on Amazon. Kicking off the year is the definitive and fully restored Rabid Grannies Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack. This release includes the never-before-seen Producer’s Cut of the film, as well as deleted scenes and other unique and Tromatic special features. This will mark the first time in its history that Rabid Grannies will be available in high-definition!

Troma is also releasing From Asia With Lust: Volume 1, a Japanese revenge saga starring celebrity adult film star Miyuki Yokoyama. In the tradition of Lady Vengeance and Last House on the Left, the vicious ‘Camp’ and cautionary ‘Hitch-Hike’ are “raw and pulpy” tales of survival and revenge.

As the 2015 Berlin Film Festival commences with it 65th year, Troma Entertainment is celebrating its 41st year with a moneymaking selection of Premier titles. Headlining this year’s lineup are Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombies, The Slashening, Madcow, and for the first time outside of North America, Banana Motherfucker. Troma will also be making available its product reel for Lloyd Kaufman’s Return to Nuke ‘Em High: Vol 2, which continues and concludes Troma’s celebrated Return to Nuke ‘Em High: Volume 1, a film which had its premiere at MoMA and a successful limited theatrical distribution in North America last year.

Legendary filmmaker Lloyd Kaufman, President of Troma Entertainment and creator of the Toxic Avenger, will be at the 2014 American Film Market (Suite #708) to showcase Troma’s 800+ money-making titles. This year marks Troma Entertainment’s 33rd year in attendance at AFM as well as its 40th year in the independent filmmaking business. To mark the occasion, Kaufman will be personally delivering Troma’s new films in a state-of-the-art security case for their AFM reveal.

After a wildly successful convention appearance at the New York Comiccon, legendary filmmaker Lloyd Kaufman, President of Troma Entertainment and the creator of the Toxic Avenger, will be flying into Los Angeles for the 2014 Stan Lee Comikaze Convention. From October 31 through November 2, Kaufman will appear as a Featured Media Guest at various Comikaze events as well as the Troma booth (#1123). 

On Friday, October 31, Lloyd will host a very special West Coast screening of Return to Nuke ‘Em High: Vol. 1. The film, released in 2012, continues to screen internationally. The event takes place in the LA Convention Center’s Screening Room at 4:30 pm.
